My objective is a prospect where my skills, abilities, and expertise can be challenged to be totally utilized. My primary academic background is in Medicine. Currently I am also a finalist in Law school, Neelain University and also completing my last module in a Master in clinical psychology, Ahfad University for Women.

First and always; I like to identify myself as a mother of six, and also a developing-country female politician and a social activist. I have a genuine interest in women empowerment agenda coupled with great passion for the role of counselling in reaching out to traumatised individuals and societies in a context of good governance. All together I have more than 25 years of professional experience.

In addition to face to face reaching out; I am also confidently able to use technology and communication tools in my work to transfer knowledge, practical skills, competencies, and motivation to fulfil the training objectives and carry out relevant follow up, dissemination, and evaluation of the work. A self starter and also self-assured working in cross regional teams.

During my years of experience I have initiated, maintained, and developed an extensive network of contacts that include exceptional pool of experts in a wide range of women development related topics both nationally and internationally.

Able to demonstrate extensive experience working with national, regional, and international governments, agencies, and NGOs. I have a profound experience as a participant, delegate, and organiser of conferences, symposiums, forums, workshops.

Achievement

– (Insaf); it’s a Sudan initiative to consolidate atrocities, grievances and injustice committed by the repressive regime by highlighting it and make it known in the society, which address and mitigate the anger and pain when their suffering is recognized and condemned by the society. This solidarity supports reconciliation and moving forward.

– 2006 IGD conference. Following the Sudan CPA Comprehensive Peace Agreement. The conference was a platform to support the CPA. I managed the selection of papers writers, participants from political parties, government, business, civil society, and media. Also managed to follow and finalize the participants travel logistics.

– 2009 Juba conference. A South Sudan Government initiative that involved all Sudanese parties but one. I was a member of the organising committee and later the Head of International Relations Committee.

– As head of Women Sector in Umma National Party (the first and largest political party which achieved the independence of Sudan), I was able to empower women and legislate a quota of 20% in the party structure as integral part of the engendering process of the traditional administration of Umma party of Sudan. Now; women are an integral part of party make up.
